Pre-Arrival

During this process, we contact the candidate in person or via phone or video call and discuss the process in detail, depending on his knowledge about living and working in Russia. Topics discussed are below:


  • Time Zone and time difference.
  • Location of airports and the location of employment.
  • A simple guide for an individual living in Russia, like banks, public holidays, etc.
  • Possible accommodation options and approximate costs - Shared or single, furnished or unfurnished, etc.
  • Typical rental agreements for accommodation and Candidates’ responsibilities.
  • How to set up a bank account if required.
  • We provide information on the costs of gas, electricity, water, broadband / Wi-Fi, council tax, etc., and we also set them up if required.
  • Mobile phone - one that will work in the Russia on arrival for the first week. And then from where and how to get one for permanent usage.

Post Arrival

One will have initially located accommodation as agreed with the candidate pre-arrival for one week. The candidate could extend this if they wish so until other alternatives are finalized. We provide post-arrival assistance to all the candidates to make sure they settle in the new country and new job smoothly:


  • The on-border will contact us to ensure a safe arrival.
  • Ensure the candidate has a Helpline contact number should the candidate require assistance.
  • Written directions and transport options to and from accommodation to the candidate's place of work.
  • Once the candidate has been provided with the location of employment on the border, provide options for potential longer-term accommodation, contact details of agents, etc.
  • A weekly phone call will be conducted to check on candidates' settling in for the first four weeks and ensure that any assistance/guidance within the required time frame can be provided.
  • A written feedback questionnaire is to be completed by the candidate after one month in the country.

The standard recruitment period lasts 2 to 4 weeks, but it might stretch due to the complexity of the position. When hiring for specialized positions, the recruitment period lasts slightly longer.
